Advanced Open Water Certification

The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about advancing your skills. You'll practice navigation and buoyancy, try deep diving and make three specialty dives of your choosing (it's like a specialty sampler platter). For every specialty dive you complete, you can earn credit toward PADI® specialty certifications.

Day One/Morning:

  • Dive One: Underwater Navigation (shore, Blue Heron Bridge)
  • Dive Two: Search & Recovery (shore, Blue Heron Bridge)

Day One/Evening:

  • Dive Three: Night Dive (shore, Blue Heron Bridge)

Day Two/Morning or Afternoon

  • Deep Dive (charter boat)
  • DSMB Dive (charter boat)

Includes

  • Guide/Instructor
  • All required scuba equipment. Regulator, alternative air source, cylinder, mask/snorkel, weights, BCD
  • Boat, captain & fuel for offshore dives
  • Upon Completion of requirements Advanced Open Water Certification

Blue Heron Bridge (Phil Foster Park) in Riviera Beach offers free parking. shade, restrooms and showers. The water ranges from 6-24 feet deep to explore the site's artificial reefs, pilings, several small shipwrecks and the wide range of sea life that calls this area home.

  • Day Two is generally held on a charter boat operating from a marina within one mile of Blue Heron Bridge.
