Canada Goose Hunt on the Eastern Shore of MD
I offer Canada goose hunts from either sunken pits in agriculture fields or from a raised box blind. Our pits are well placed for ideal ambush sites. Our raised box blinds are well built, comfortable and can be moved to follow the geese patterns. Pits and blinds can accommodate up to 4 hunters. We have additional switch grass head-rows to accommodate larger groups if required.
Experience Level: The experience level needed for a goose hunt are minimal. You need to be able to operate, aim, and load your shotgun (aim is the key).
Physical Requirements: Physical requirements of Canada goose hunts are minimal. If you hunt from a pit, you need to be able to climb up/down a 4' vertical ladder and be able to walk approximately 300 yards. If hunting from a blind, you will need to be able to walk approximately 300 yards.
License: Maryland offers an over the counter license to anyone. A license can be purchased from the Maryland DNR app or through various retailers.
