Colorado Hunting Advise and Consultation

Our merriam turkey hunts are booking 2022, and includes guide and lodging for just $375 a day. Come hunt in the Southwest of Colorado in the San Juan Mountains. Our hunts take place on the National Forest and the hunting style is more of a run and gun for the birds. These birds don't pattern very well so we have to go where they are based on past experence and if they are gobbling. HIking is involved and ground blind hunting is available for a small fee since the guide will have to carry it for you to the spot thats best to set up on.

Merriam Turkey Hunts $375/day San Juan Mountains

If you are not sure where to or how to apply for a tag in the draw or if a certain unit is good for you specifically then I am here to help you. When it comes to doing a hunt for Big Game in the Western states it can be very overwhelming trying to fighure out tags, units, locations, trailheads, camping, best access and etc. I have been there and spent countless hours doing tons of research and covered a ton of units. I have other staff members who live in the Outdoors just like I do and know or know how to get the information you will need. I attend commisioner meetings to keep up with the every changing state laws and regulations so that you are not blindsided when you pick your hunt. So book this 1 hour session so we can get those burning questions out of the way. You will video conference/phone call with me and I will give you expert advice on your specific questions and needs. This is a basic question and answering event to help you narrow down the location and game you want to hunt. Have a list of all your questions ready so we can best use your time to get you the answers you really need. This is a basic advice event, so if you would like a more in depth of your unit or units where I do research and dig deeper then select the Big Game Hunting In Depth Research. My staff and I spend many days shed hunting, scouting, hiking, researching, talking with biologist and etc. so you do not have to spend hours doing it. We are highly successful hunters and guides in many states like Colorado, New Mexico, Arizonia and Montana.

Now that you have a few units picked out and it is the type of hunt you are wanting, then where do you start looking for your big game? Video conference/telephone with me and I will give my expert advice on your specific unit. I have been using paper maps since I was 8 years old and with advance in technology I have stayed up to date. I will go over maps with you and share with you specific details of where to look for your game. This is an in depth look to your unit or units where I do research and dig deeper to give you specific locations to consider when scouting or hunting. Have a list of all your questions ready. This is a in depth advice event, so if you would like a more in depth of your unit or units and would like me to physically do a scouting trip of your unit then select the Unit Scouting Trip. 

Unit Scouting and Research

Video conference with me and I will give my expert advice on your specific unit.  I will then go to your specific unit and scout it with boots on the ground to give you detailed information about the area and sign of game. You will receive ONX waypoints that have pictures attached and best access to those points. This is the most in depth scouting you can receive. This is a multiple day event where travel will be required for me, so price is based on fuel, lodging and other cost. 
This is a minimum of a 3 day event. Some trips can be longer based on distance from my base location. 

Colorado Boots On The Ground Unit Scouting Trip

Offering free ranging Aoudad hunts in New Mexico. You will be hunting with Brugman Outfitters who will obtain your tag for you. We will do a 2 on 1 hunt for a 5 day hunt $2950/person and 1 on 1 hunt 5 days for 3750. This price does not include your NM license you have to purchase and does not include the state tax of 7.315%. These are guided only hunts, but if fully guided is wanted we can accommodate you with that also. Once you book we can discuss options of when to hunt, guided vs fully guided and extra days.

2022 Archery New Mexico Mule Deer Draw Hunt 

We have 1 week before the draw closes so contact me ASAP to book. $5,500 New Mexico Rifle Elk Hunt for the days you choice. Outfitter will apply you for the draw tag. Cost is a guide only hunt, so you provide your own food and lodging. I will pick you up and we will hunt all day in the unit you draw in. We do have private ranch tags that we can put you on and hunt for those with mobility issues. Contact me for more information.
